This is a perfectly reasonable explanation if they're using coal-fired computer systems

Called, and the lady said..." well, it looks like you were declined afterall" Im like...excuse me? the reason????..................." looks like the computer denied you because your address exceeds 30 characters". WTH??? I have NO control over the name of my address, and I told her I abreviated parkway on my app to "pkwy", and even with the street number, name, and all spaces included, it equals 30 characters!!
She said, we can approve it manually when this happens, but its gonna take probably a week because we have several apps in front of you. I opted to forget the whole thing and told her Ive NEVER in my life heard of being declined because my street address name is too long, thats almost borderline discrimination...jeeeeezzzz. I told her to forget it, I wanted my $$ refunded, and I wanted any HP taken reversed.
Thats like saying..I cant date you because youre only 5'8'. Well, that man or woman may be a wonderful person, attractive etc and had no control over how tall they grew, or didnt grow, but declined for dating because that person doesnt fall within the personal "height" requirement for them . Im like over it...all of this.
Wow that's rediculous....I have never heard something like this. ... ![]()
Ok I couldn'r resist ....![]()
Sorry about the denial tho
My issue is more with the week to take care of the problem. In such a situation, since it was only denied for the 30 characters they should have a system in place where it only takes a moment to get it done. 'Oh we have a few other applications ahead of you,'..... it will take a week. A week for a few other applications when it really only needs to take 30 seconds to get it done? That to me is even funnier than the reason for the denial. Heck, a good manager would instruct the people receiving these calls to send an email to the dept. that does the opening with the subject line 30 char to make it easy for the opening dept. to spot and take care of these issues first.
Sorry to hear!!! ![]()
Ron.
Whatdya live on "supercalafragilitichbalodouchious Lane" 😀😀😀. Should've told her "oh, no problem, let me sell my house, move across town, find a street with a shorter name, and I'll reapply. No worries. Thanks"
If this isnt a sign to stop and relax for a minute, idk what is.

I'm no expert but, I concur, this is the simplest solution.
I also appreciate the correct contraction for should have. First time I've seen it correctly done, instead of "should of"!
