Looking for others inputs after getting approved for AMEX after blacklist

Hi All, 

I included AMEX in my BK in 2018 for about $7k. Fast forward to last month, my employer added me to their corporate program and from there I was able to get approved for a personal AMEX. Today, I seen that I had offers for other cards on their credit score app in the AMEX app. I applied and was declined due to previous AMEX account being cancelled. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance.

You were approved for a card, or you were approved for a corporate backed card? It's possible to still be blacklisted and get a corporate card because you're not the one guaranteeing it.

I was approved for a personal AMEX that shows my original member date. I got it when I registered my corporate account and their was an invite link to apply for a personal card.

Ak ok. Charge cards are easier than the revolvers. @Brian_Earl_Spilner can help more now. Im still a newb with my cards and how it works. Dont want to mislead you. congrats again.
