Love Button / Soft Pull CLI requests and frequency of use (Capital One)

Just curious if checking frequently via soft pull CLI on the website is supposed to be a no no? Any impact on your chances or later approval considerations? I tried it like 4 or 5 times within month span (3-4 months) after I got my quicksilver card and got a $3,500 increase out of it. I was kinda surprised by that.

Anyone have any idea if it's tracked and built into their algorythm. Didn't seem like they care how often you asked from my experience.

Re: Love Button / Soft Pull CLI requests and frequency of use (Capital One)

It seems to be a lender to lender thing. Capital One doesn't care as they won't consider requests within 6 months of a customer initiated CLI anyway. Discover is another one that doesn't seem to ding you in anyway for asking. Citi, on the other hand, tracks and sometimes makes it a CLI denial reason. It's best to research the common CLI rules for each of your lenders here and save yourself some headaches.
