Lowes CLI Denied

Hey all,

 

I got my Lowes store card in February and have gotten a lot of luv from them... until recently.

 

Twice in the last few months, I have requested a CLI from them and have been denied.  The reason given is "because your credit bureau report is not accessible, we are unable to grant your request."  Now, around Labor Day, I did add a freeze to all of my credit reports.  But this should not affect Lowes because a CLI is typically a SP.  And I have received a CLI on other cards during the freeze.

 

Is Lowes/Synchrony unable to SP during a freeze, or are they trying to HP?

Although it is a soft pull, Synchrony store cards do not approve CLIs while report is frozen. Unfreeze for 5 minutes and try again. GL!

Yes Synch will not approve with freeze/lock.

Even with the new Vantage 4 score Sync can't/wont update the score with TU locked/frozen for my PP MC or Lowes.
