Luxury Gold card. Was I approved?

Read lots of verification that military have been able to get the annual fee waived and the APR lowered to 0% with the Luxury Gold so I figured I may as well get it. No reason not to get a free $200 airline credit every year. Anyways I got an email thanking me for enrolling in paperless statements that has the last 4 of an account number but no congragulations email or anything. When I called Barclays yesterday the CSR was able to see the app but said nothing had been done with it. When I enter my info into the Barclays check status page it says it has no record of application.

I think most of the Luxury card applications are a manual review.
