Macy's Amex App

I called a few days ago to ask for upgrade to macy's amex via chat. they told me something about 30 days. but im not sure what. this is even before i applied. So im just wondering how long does it actually take to find out something one way or the other. Why do they keep everything so secret. This is the fastest way to get me to use my macy's card. since i have not used it since november. as they gave me a whole 200 dollar increase. thanks all. for any info.

Check your Macys account page. If you see a Macys card with an Amex logo on it, you were approved. It's not immediate either so keep checking back.

Goodluck, I waited almost 20 days then called in and they told me I was declined. They take forever, but if you want an update call this number:

I applied for the upgrade to Amex about 2 weeks ago via chat, I was told up to 30 days, it took about 10 days to change to Amex when I logged into my account.  I have not recieved the card yet and tried to call for credit line but after 10 minutes on hold gave up.

Call the number on the back of your store card and go through the automated system to get your credit limit.

Thank you, I tried that originally and it came up invalid number---my assumption was they changed the number with the new Amex and I would need that to access the automated system going forward.

So I will wait 2 weeks to just see if the image changes. Since I have 100 percent clean report now. I can't see any reason to deny. As I also have 2 regular Amex cards. I just thought this would actually put my Macy's card to use. Seeing how Ive not used it in 7 months.
