I've had a CareCredit account since sometime in the spring of 2010. I had a couple of 30 day lates a few years ago, but it's been clean since then. Initially started out with $5000 limit (at least, I think it was $5k) and used it for hearing aids, but it got decreased to $2700 in 2012 when I got Lasik. I'll have PIF when July's payment comes around.
Since my credit report has cleaned up over the last 6 months, thanks to the awesome, awesome folks here, I figured I'd try for a CLI.
Called the automated line yesterday, entered all the data, it said it was processing...and then it hung up on me. Ok, that was weird.
Tried it again 10 minutes later, same result. Ok, not cool.
Tried a third time, this time going through one of the humans. She took all my info...and as soon as I finished giving her my rent info, the call disconnected.
Oh, come on!
I'm guessing this is a sign from God that I shouldn't ask for a CLI on my CareCredit account...

Sounds like "Peggy" from DISCOVER may have intercepted those calls
If you are paying it off, I would wait until after your payoff has posted, then ask again.

Sorry to hear that. That's really annoying. The same thing happened to me on the automated line for Paypal SC, kept hanging up. I think the 4th time it said: not eligible.
Carecredit hasn't given me a CLI either.
I might try again tomorrow.
On the plus side, it looks like none of those attempts resulted in a HP, or at least nothing has shown up on my reports yet...
