Marvel CLI request | denied

Could it be that this TL util is at 77% and another marvel card I’m an AU on is at 80%? Letter is coming in the mail.

Did you request online or call in? Normally you can get a higher approved CLI by calling in. They have me maxed at $10k using the online portal.

Hit the luv button online. My synchrony Walmart store card account won’t let me request online now. I have the number to UW & will call later. I requested an increase to $25k from $6k.

Yup it was the same for me. I had to call in in order to get my Walmart card over $10K. I was denied online but called in afterwards and had it raised. Be aware Walmart and Marvel use different UWs. You can't use the overseas number for Marvel. Marvel's UW is based in the States. Way more conservative than the overseas UWs for Walmart, Sam's and Lowes.

Wow I didn’t know there was two UW depts. I have 3 numbers in my phone for two depts:

synchrony credit solutions

synchrony underwriting

I would say if the card is at 77% util you are better off asking later. It is always easier, at least IMO, to get a CLI when the utilization isn't high. Pay it down and then ask.

I wasn't aware that the overseas CS number couldn't handle Marvel CLI requests... thanks for sharing that!

I have the card 4 months. Requested at 3 nope then again at 4 months nope.

They seem to run a little different from their other cards. WM and Amazon every 3 months, care credit and lowes every 2-3 months. Not sure how marvel works ??

Now that I looked back yes WM every 4, but amazon I have gotten every 3.
