@FinStar Exactly!  And it's usually followed up with post such as "...they said to expect something in the mail..." and "...I ain't providing that info for nothin' cept' a house loan..." and ends with "...I hate them anyway, all of their products are junk and their interest rates are too high..." all while forgetting that in 9 million previous post they claim to be AZEO so interest rate shouldn't have mattered anyway. 

Like you mentioned, all fun and games until that snail mail letter arrives.

Im curious as to why this thread still remains open? Its obvious Marvel and Synchrony are still giving cli as evidenced in Credit Crack's approval, amongst others?

They officially aren't giving them, the success came via a backdoor that exists because they put in place a simple security-through-obscurity level change to inhibit CLI requests.   Remember that their CLI requests are all automated except for calls to Credit Solutons.

My interest is now piqued to see:

a) if and how long it will be before the loophole is closed

b) if CLIs granted by this loophole are later rescinded upon manual review once they catch on to what's going on or if they will let the sleeping dogs lie.

Why should it be closed/locked @AverageJoesCredit?  Not everyone is receiving CLIs on Marvel (even with the link provided) just because CIC or a couple other members received them.  The thread still serves its purpose for gathering datapoints.
