Multiple NFCU apps

I joined NFCU today and appd for CashRewards (currently in 24 hour review). Now I've noticed the Platinum has a 0pct Bal transfer offer, can I app for this one instead somehow or just submit a 2nd app?

You can call the 800 number and check the status of your current application. And if they tell you that it is approved you can also find out your SL and you can Pc it to whichever card you want as long as you qualify. I believe that would be the easiest way to do what you hope to do.

If they ask for it then you'll have i and that shows honesty. And just tell them the truth and you'll be fine. NFCU is the bomb.com

So I called and asked about switching the app. The agent was super helpful, voided my cash rewards app & added a platinum app. It went to review and I asked if he could get me a decision then. After a 2-3 min hold I was given a denial.

I suppose i should wait wait for the denial letter, but I sent a message for a recon without knowing the denial reason and am crossing my fingers. If still denied, I'll sit and impatiently wait for a few months.

I was was rather hopeful with all of the great things I've seen about Navy, but I'm guessing my BK got me again.

Strange they would deny you but PenFed said yes to theirs and we all know how conservative Pen Fed is. They wouldn't even give me a $500 SL plain card non rewards type.

NFCU declined me a second card over the weekend. I have the CLOC at 15k and Gorewards at $27,100.00. Have had them both for 10 months. PIF always before statements cut. 4% uti and clean files. I must be at their internal limit.

Anyways, I applied for the Penfed Power Cash and got instantly approved for a small starting line of $11,000.00.

I would offer you POI in the recon message. Product changing will not make eligible for the promotion btw.

@tydawg - I did send in my POI with recon...hope it works! I actually voided the first app and submitted a Platinum app instead so I would be eligible for the bal transfer if I decide to use it.
