Multiple apps simultaneously?

Odd question, not going to try it. However let's say you apply for a card. An inquiry goes on your report. Is it that instant or maybe a few seconds of a window? Could you apply for multiple cards in a very narrow span of time before a foot print is left? Just a random thought I'm sure it probably wouldn't work. But want others input.

Re: Multiple apps simultaneously?

Yes, you can do this with Amex and Capital One but you have like 1 minute for Cap 1 before the "you have a pending app" message.

Re: Multiple apps simultaneously?

I read it as different banks at the same time. Yes possible, especially if they're known to pull off differents Bureaus. Some won't show new accounts or inq right away

Re: Multiple apps simultaneously?

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I mean if I apply for barclay, cap1, amex, chase, and 6 other lenders at once simultaneously click submit. (Super computer and super reflexes) and each bank pulls all three (to make simplistic) would there be a new inquiry as each one goes through or could there be some sort of few seconds of delay, to where the inquiries have not populated and several apps could be approved at once

Re: Multiple apps simultaneously?

To my knowledge, Cap One is the only lender that always pulls all 3 reports for an application. Most of the others don't typically but they always could. For example, Chase pulled my Exp and then my EQ one day later. But I don't think that's typical for them.

Re: Multiple apps simultaneously?

Once you hit that submit button the inquiry is created. So if you were to apply with amex and chase there would be a separate inquiry for each bank. Won't matter if you hit them right after the other or not, the computer will see that inquiry.

+1 correct answer

Bravo Skye .....good job

To illustrate how fast a HP occurs

Your mind doesn't work as fast as it takes to record the HP

It's recorded in nanoseconds maybe even less

So by the time your brain says ok move on to the next app submit button you're already 3 seconds behind the previous recorded HP

Which is why we tell people: If doing a spree ....spread HP's across 3 CB's if possible

That way Barclay (TU)  in this example won't see the Amex (EX) Discover (EQ) won't see any of the previous two apps .....YMMV

Now if you do Chase, Citi, Amex they'll be seen by the last 2

Make sense?

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Not really

It's more of the luck of the draw and it's really a YMMV thing because some have gotten the extra pulls with both of those lenders

Always expect 2 or more pulls per app and pray for the best

In my case Amex (2 apps)

2 cards 1 pull

Total 4 cards

Chase (2 apps)

1 card 2 pulls  EX EQ

2 cards 3 pulls EX EQ TU

Total 3 cards

Chase is the thorn in my side always approved but they be messing with my churn and burn method Lol
