My chances of approval after close of escrow

I've been trolling and this is my first post...also what do you guys mean by "gardening?" Thanks!

I'm in the last week of escrow. i know better than to not open any during escrow but what are my chances of being approved for Citi, Discover, etc after i close on my house? My one of my scores off here is 727 (forgot if Equifax or Experiance) and the others are in the high 680's.

Cards i currenly have are Barclay $1500, Macys $1300, Capital One $2250, Walmart $1000, Capital One (2 at $750)

Welcome to the forums and congrats on new house.

Gardening means to not apply for any new credit cards or requests for credit limit increases (CLIs) that would result in any hard pulls.  This is done to allow your accounts to age and improve your credit and score by letting the effect of inquiries decrease due to time.  We start a new thread every month for those forum members to post about their efforts and receive support those efforts by fellow members.  Here is a link to this month's thread and in the first post gardening is explained further:

As as for your possibility of approval, based on scores alone (without us knowing more about your credit file), I think your chances are good.
