NASA FCU Credit Card Declined

NASA is a tough credit union to crack for a credit card lately I have been denied 2X so far at least both soft pulls....  Good Luck...

Did you recon?  If so, did you call in or send them a message through their message system online?  I did my best to put together a reasonable explanation of my recent open accounts, etc.  Wonder if it would help to call?  Anyone have a recon backdoor number for NASA, I don't see it on the backdoor list.

I never did I have read that it is a waste of time.....

I tried recon and EO back in October (yes waste of time).  Much of the reasons were the same as OPs.  Their loss not mine... moving on to PenFed this year to become my second CU.  If I really decide on needing a second.

Should I leave my $50 bucks in the savings account, and try again in a year, or withdraw it and ditch them?

It's good for the soft pull, but I think most were attracted to the high CL, and now that appears to have gone, not sure it will ever return.   I would be inclined to remove most (or all) of the money and go for the next big thing (whatever that turns out to be)
