NASA credit unionQUESTION

Has anybody applied for a credit card or personal loan and been approved this year??
Did they ask for poi/check Stubs etc
It's so hard to find good credit unions that actually give yes's anymore atleast in Houston, texas.

Please post data points

Re: NASA credit unionQUESTION

NASA approved me in late 2015 for a $15,000 card with no POI when my scores were right at 700 and I had 85-90% overall utilization.  Shortly after they approved me for a $15,000 loan. Those jump-started me actually paying my balances down and being rewarded for my spend. They were the flavor of the month a few years ago, but rarely heard about these days.  Sorry I can't offer a more recent data point.

Re: NASA credit unionQUESTION

I was on their site the other day snooping around, and now I get NASA CU popups all over my browser.  They seem to have some good rates.  Once I close on my house in June-ish (if the weather cooperates for the builder) I may revamp my credit cards and dump a few, app a few new ones.  We shall see.  NASA is definitely on my list.

Re: NASA credit unionQUESTION

I'm also curious. I applied for membership last night, said they'd get back to me. It's just for membership, I didn't apply for any cards or loans. I'm guessing they'll ask for copy of license or proof of residence, blah blah but nothing yet. Current status says "referred".

Re: NASA credit unionQUESTION

No real complaints about NASA FCU here. To be honest, I can't remember if they asked for POI or not. lol
They do send out some nice checks you can use for whatever, from time to time.
Just received some a few days ago. 3.9% for the life of the loan. It's been a few years. So policies may have changed since I joined them.
