I have a question I am freaking out! I am closing on a house hopefully by the end of July! I plan to get a rooms to go and Home Depot card once I close to get my furniture and appliances. I also plan to get a couple of credit card for balance transfers at 0%.

I periodically checked the pre approval sites and always had offers for Citi, Capital one (visa) and Home Depot.

In the meantime my dads credit has improved and I recently got him a card with Home Depot for some repairs on his home, rooms to go for a new mattress and citi cash back. We share the same address currently as I moved home after my lease was up to buy. Now all of the sudden all my preapprovals are gone. Is that because someone at this address has a card? Or because I applied for him on my phone? My score hasn’t changed other than going up and I have not added anything to my balances per the u/w so not sure how the pre approvals all of the sudden aren’t there anymore.

Pre-approvals come and go for every issuer and no one can confirm exactly *why* they do. If you really want the cards, cold app after you've closed on your house.

OP, as mentioned above, no need to "freak out".   Pre-approvals and offers can float at any given time and disappear for any reason.  Possible reasons: browser cookies, no longer meeting the pre-screened criteria, alternate or expired promotions, segmented marketing, and the list goes on.
