NFCU CLI Request - Denied

Requested a CLI for my NFCU cashrewards on the website, it went to get reviewed and was denied the next day. I currently have a $5000 CL and have about $600 of a balance on it and I requested a CLI.

I was under the impression that you could request a CLI every 91ish days and that was the waiting period. But then looking again through forums after being denied I saw that it might be 180 days instead.

I was automatically CLId from 3500 to 5000 about 5 statements/billing cycles ago.

Im currently waiting on the letter in the mail.

If its the 180 day waiting period that caused me to get denied should I wait until the next billing cycle/the one after that to apply again? Or 180 days after I got denied?

Also kind of irrelevant but not sure if it changed but some people said that they were able to ask how much they wanted to be increased by but I had to just put my current income  and they would decide the increase. Not sure if that means anything🤷‍♂️

if you just got a CLI, it's 180 days from the date you got a CLI

being denied for a CLI doesn't reset that, so whenever 180 days is from when you were last approved for a CLI is when you might be able to get another one

send a secure message and ask for a pdf copy of the denial letter, will probably be quicker than the mail, should confirm you asked too early
