I originally applied and got approved for the NFCU More Rewards AMEX card on April 28th.
Fast forward 4 statements later (1 partial and 3 full statements) to August 8th and it had been 91 days so I went for the CLI luv button. The message I received was "it can take up to 24 hours to review application".
What does this mean? Does it mean that my CLI request will not be approved? My stomach is literally in knots!! ![]()
NFCU Relationship Info: I have several thousand in Flagship checking and savings, a secured NRewards card as well as money in a certificate with NFCU. Never carried a balance on either NFCU CC due to always paying in full. I've been a member for 8 months. Hopefully my establishing of a relationship is enough. ![]()
This is normal. Someone else just posted it only took a few hours to see their increase so you may see it soon.
IME and from DPs here on myFICO, CLI requests are never instant.
Sometimes you'll get in the same day and others can take a few days.
If you requested today on Sunday it might not show up until tomorrow.
I'm sure you'll be fine though!
Occasionally log in and look at the card account. You'll see it first in your available credit, then reflected in the limit the next day. If you have a $5k card and you get a $5k increase, it will say at first that you have $10,000 available out of $5000, then the next day it'll show the $10k as the limit.
Normal. Do what i do , just login after a day and look at your limit. Its rare to get any kind of confirmation on a cli approval, until your AA letter comes in, if it does
. I have a pretty good story that ill post later today on cli and i think you are doing the right things to establish your history![]()
Manual review is normal process. Just keep checking your "available" credit, as it would show there if approved?. ..Good Luck!
@AverageJoesCredit what time Is the story going to be posted, because I can't wait? 😁

I also find that NFCU is not the most informative CU in the world ![]()
I think any CLI request I have done with them I never get an email or SM that it was received or approved.
I just check every so often and then eventually it shows up as the higher SL.
