NFCU CLI or Flagship App

Do go for CLI on my GoRewards or attempt flagship again?
Here some data points
Was denied NFCU Flagship in March, denial reason “ does not qualify for min SL” Then Applied for GoRewards Card was approved 1k SL which was surprised since people getting monster SL with low scores, BK’s and so on.
Data points at time
TU 704 , 12 total INQ 6 from past year, 6 -7 new accounts , high six figure income, 4% UTI , low DTI , oldest account 18 years AAOA 5 years . 3-4 late payments from 2015, no other baddies.
Fast Forwarded to yesterday hit the 3/91 mark on my GoRewards.
My scores have increased since being approved for the GoRewards.
TU 732 , 8INQ , 4 from past year , 2% UTI , high income. Still have 3-4 lates from 2015.
EQ 788 , 5INQ, 4 from past year, 2%UTI, no derogatory, 100% payment history

I know for CLI’s NFCU pulls EQ.
Do I attempt a CLI as my EQ is stronger, or go for new app. I’ve seen on here people post they tend to get monster limits on their 2nd cards.

Re: NFCU CLI or Flagship App

Is attempting both not an option for you at this time? I'm not exactly up-to-date on NFCU rules regarding apps and CLIs but seems like if you're undecided why not both. For a possible increase on your goRewards a HP is nothing really in the grand scheme of things and since you're already prepared to take a HP for a new account I don't see the issue with Flagship app either. If I had to choose between the two I'd go the CLI request route because if you put any kind of spend on it there's more of a likelihood of an increase.

I will say I am surprised on the denial reason considering your signature and the cards you currrently have.

Re: NFCU CLI or Flagship App

Since you're past the 91/3 I would go ahead and apply for the 2nd card, if the Flagship looks good to you, I would bet you would get it this time around.

I would honestly hold off on the CLI for the 181/6 time frame...you may get it if you apply now, may not..I tried at over 3 months and was denied, and tried again @ 6 months and got a 4k bump on one card and a 7k bump on my 2nd card.

Re: NFCU CLI or Flagship App

Yea same here , and prior to applying did a lot of research on the forums and saw a decent amount of posts with people applying with high 500 low 600 scores with charge off’s, bunch late payments , BK , etc and getting 10k plus SL. Not sure what about my profile they didn’t like.
Hopefully this time around they will be more generous.

As for spend , I’ve put about 5-6k on the card past 3 months , always PIF and 0 balance reporting.
