NFCU Credit Card Application Advice

I'm probably borderline getting approved for a non-secured card, would I have a better chance applying in person at the local branch or online? If I'm not approved for an un-secured card I would like to get the secured card.

i did mine online but if you go in person you can have your documents ready for view (DL or anything of that matter)

i would just apply online since many first credit cards are instantly approved.

Well I didn't details approved for an unsecured card but I did get approved for the secured nRewards Mastercard. I'm happy to be in with NFCU but I was hoping for at least a $500 unsecured card. Time to garden now.

If you are waiting for that secured card to graduate it usually takes about 13 months, if your looking to apply for unsecured card wait about 6 months. The 6 months is only if you pay on time every time, have most/ all collection/ bad accounts taken care of, and you should be fine.
