Most likely you didnt do anything wrong but you need to provide more context on your current credit profile to get any meaningful responses. Navy approvals and cli are not gaurenteed for any of us, regardless of score or income.
Scores are 750s across the board. Currently have 4 revolving accounts and 1 installment account. 7 inquiries in the past 24 months. No negative remarks on any report.
Objectively, does your credit profile merit a card with a 5k starting limit?
My More Rewards had a 5.5k SL

Sometimes i wonder if all 5k limits are created the same lol. Once upon a time i apped for FS just to see if i could get it and i had various 5k limits in my profile yet i was still denied for not meeting that standard. Strange beast those cards that must qualify for a sl of 5k![]()
One thought here. You could always apply for a different card and then PC to the Flagship after sometime. That's what happened to me as I had an older version of the GoRewards and the MoreRewards. The GoRewards wasn't really doing anything for me. I think it was around 1 year that I PC'd to Flagship. You would lose the SUB. But if you really wanted the Flagship, this is a possible way.

Do you have any other cards from other lenders that have a $5k+ CL? Because if Navy is the only one, then more than likely they just aren't comfortable with giving you another $5k+ card right now.

My example of this- My first card, Cash Rewards, $25k. Second card, More Rewards, I only got 1k.
Thanks for all your information and ideas. I think I'll wait a few more months and try again.
On a positive note I got a CLI on my More Rewards CC. $8k CLI. For a new limit of $13.5k
I went for the CLI after the Flagship denial.
