As nice as it would be to app their products, that's off the table for now while i let the steam settle from recent new approvals.
So my question for those already in the know is i assume they also issue preapprovals on that often mentioned AR.
Has anyone gone this route and how solid are those?

Same boat as well CM! I got in as well and applying for any products is off the table as well.
However, I would like to know the answer to this questions as well.
Why not settle AFTER you get Navy Credit Card and Checking Line of Credit!?
I'm not sure how often they push out Pre-Approvals but doesn't seem to be on a schedule like PenFed, just seems to be when they review the accounts and see what product you don't have... Partner got a pre-approval when he joined almost instantly for the credit card and then nothing for a couple of years when all of a sudden we paid off all debt and he got the personal loan pre-approval.

Thanks CA! I would love to apply for a few products. We will soon be in the process of buying a new house. I just wanted to get in with NF. Think it would be much easier with UW...inquiry vs new account. However, the minute we closed...it's ON!! ![]()
