Re: NFCU cash rewards..which CRA pull?

Well my TU was 616, I had to recon the approval bc my SL still shows as default so they automatically denied me for that . But I just ask them to recon and told them.my.loam would.be rehabbed next mth and so forth.
Now my fiancé only had 580 and he was instantly approved for 1600.SL but he has a clean report no default or anything , just one medical collection that we are paying on. I was approved for only 500 SL but I am very happy to have that as I know how fast it will.grow with them.

Re: NFCU cash rewards..which CRA pull?

Just remember each one of those pulls were for different things, thats the part you miss when one says EVERY time!

Each request is a separate issue with Navy
Membership= Banking background limited HP
CC = CC department TU HP
LOC = Loan department EF HP

But, if you request another 'like' request from the same department you can use the same pull (of the banking pull, is just what it is)

However as, I mentioned before if you App for CLOC, that pull is good for a Auto Loan request without a new pull.

And one could request a 2nd CC on the same pull (most likely a NO for the 2nd card because they seem to try to give max exposure on card one)

We get spoiled because other places may not separate there departments the way Navy does but they make very distinct lines in the sand.

We get caught up. because more often we want a CC and LOC, which other places would both be handled in the same manner with Navy the quirk is the LOC is vetted as a Loan

If we were to app for LOC and a Loan but no CC it would not cause the additional HP.

The one for membership is the killer because it's a total waste, if that one were good for anything other than just account approval, we'd be cooking.

I wish they'd change it to at least a SP....and maybe they would if we asked...that may be a thing we should ask new ppl to start requesting who knows?

Re: NFCU cash rewards..which CRA pull?

Wow, this thread made me curious. I went back and checked my reports. I joined NFCU in December of 2015.

I only received 1 pull...period. Equifax for memebership and credit card. I didn't realize I'd been so lucky!

It's a good day!

Congratulations on the recon. Never say die!
