Asked for a CLI on my NFCU Platinum card. Asked for $25k and was instantly denied. Just got the letter in the mail and they said account was too new. Oh well at least it was a soft pull. I'll try again next year!

OPs current CL is $12,500.
How long since you opened your account?

91/3 doesn't apply to everyone. Many have more success at 6 months.
Often NFCU will give a second card at 91/3 but decline CLIs too.
Sorry about your denial. If you want more advice, let us know the denial reasons when you get the AA letter
Meanie, that IS the denial teason lol. Too new. With Navy often times their denial reasons are on point unlike others who just throw out reasons to satisfy their snickers hunger
.
Try again next month, scores rise and internal scores rise with time. Being sp, ususlly now, doesnt hurt to try. Lol i tried this month after score update and was denied but i wont stop til i break the bank with 25k
.
Sorry about your denial. Better luck next time!
