Finally decided to join Navy Federal Crefit Union. My and my spouse both applied for checking account , LOC ( line of credit), refi on auto 2.59 24 months, me approved flagship sig cc 6600, my spouse cash reward sig 5000...both got two hard pull each yikes equifax and TU.
Everything approved except for LOC, denied due to inquiries??? I only have 8 on equifax and 9 on TU. I called and spoke with CSR, which was like talking to a brick, kept on telling me to apply for a secure credit card bc I had too many inquiries , I proceed to ask for a supervisor ( which seems to annoy him). Supervisor was no help either , kept on telling me that I had too many inquiries, when I ask how many , she wouldn't say...
A couple of questions:
Can I recon this and to who some I call....
Also how do I get a credit increase in my and my spouse credit card????
The account specialist at the branch was super nice, but CSR are horrible....
On a funny notes....a denial based on inquiries , but also a company that is HP happy😀

Having the same issue. Got denied for a cash rewards credit card. When I call they keeping telling me to wait till I get the letter for denial in the mail. If you find out the direct number to call, please let me know.

In my experience.  You can usually recon a CC app.  But the loc dept won't usually do it.  I applied for a cash rewards card and was able to recon and recieved a 3000 limit. But with my loc app I was denied and when I called, they just told me it was denied, it If i wanted them to reconsider I would have to reapply.  Which of cousse meaint another inquiry,.

thats crazy! i got approved for the Cash Rewards card with 40inquires on Transunion and 30+ on Equifax

Good news!! I was successful in my recon via secured messaging. I was approved for 5,000!!! So happy to be in!

As of right now they mainly only recon over ticket online.
