 just got approved for 1600 a week ago cashrewards card, whats the best way to ask for an CLI, i also got approved for 4000 CLOC. I really want a higher limit on my credit card. NFCU gurus whats the best way? When do they normally increase you or do u have to request an increase to get it and when?

You have to request a cli. Auto clis are few and far between. It's usually suggested to wait at least 3 months after opening. If you do it after an AR, you can possibly receive a cli using that sp. If you receive 3-5 day message, it will be a hp on EQ.

You can send an SM to racon your starting limit, but you will limely get another hard pull out of it, and no guarantee of CLI.

Worked for me though, went from $500 to $1000 to $5000 on cash rewards in about three weeks, but got a pull for each step.
