My wife has just joined NFCU today and I am wondering if she should apply for one of their credit cards now
or wait until they contact her with offers ?
She submitted her membership application over the phone and the rep told her that they will be running her credit
and reveiwing her credit file and will notify her if they have any product offers for her at that time.
She just became a member about 30 mins ago.
They pulled her TU report
TU Fico 8 is 764
I joined a couple of months ago and immediately applied, and was approved for, their GoRewards card. My score was 100+ points lower than your wife.
Did they do a second hard pull after membership or did they use the same one ?
Who did they pull for you ?
Navy is simple
HP for EVERYONE for EVERYTHING EVERYTIME... LOL!!

Yes, they did a second TU hp for the cc app.
Go for the Gorewards they are doing 30,000 bonus points for new members only!
You can go for a CC immediately. Don't burn them or you'll be blacklisted for life.
I opened NFCU savings and checking and the HP fell off after 2 years. They kept sending me pre-approvals so I finally gave in. $18k SL. I was depositing checks into those accounts from my EBates Big Fat Checks (cash back). They've been sending me pre-approvals for a second CC but I don't want it.

She has a really good TU score.
She just doesn't want to get denied
She doesn't have any baddies.
She has one 30 day late about 10 most ago on her cap1.
She is an AU on my Lowes account.
Do you think she could receive a card on that info?
Her EQ isn't that good though.
Her TU is Def her best file.
YMMV of course, but they approved me for a Cash Rewards card with several baddies on my CR's last May. With her scores--even if they do pull EQ she shouldn't have any problems.
