I should have also mentioned, feel free to continue any discussions, answer any open questions, etc. here on this thread until the new one is established.
The reason for the advance notice was to give a 'heads-up' on what's going on instead of everyone just finding out once the thread is locked.

Thank you for your notification @UncleB ! .. I have learned a lot from many of the great post here.
Looking forward to the "new" thread. Take care
Thanks @UncleB and @Creditaddict this is a great thread and I am sure the new one will be just as good!

It's going to be a challenge to top this thread. However, I have faith in my fellow brothers (edited: - and sisters).
@UncleB wrote:*** NFCU Mega-Thread Announcement ***
In the coming hours/days, a new thread will be started to discuss NFCU credit limit increases and additional cards, and this thread will be closed to new posts.
It's been a good run, but at 17k+ posts it's become a bit unwieldy, and many of the data points from earlier in the thread no longer apply. Rather than advise new members to "skip to the last few pages" of the thread for relevant information it's more appropriate to simply start over.
Many thanks to the dedicated members who have kept this thread going, tirelessly answering questions about NFCU cards as well as sharing your own experiences and data points! We all look forward to your continued participation on the upcoming new thread.
Once the new thread has been established a link to it will be posted here and this thread will be locked.
Finally, big thanks and shout-out to @Creditaddict for starting this thread way back in 2014!
Thank you
