Re: Navy Federal credit Union

24 hour message is not necessarily a denial.  I got that and was approved the next day for my goRewards.  If denied, go for a secured, I started out that way befiore getting an unsecured one.

The 24 hr review worked out for my wife a few days ago.

She was approved for $10.000 the next day !

Re: Navy Federal credit Union

I got the message when applied in April, sent a secure message which they responded to and directed me to call. I called, they jus verbally asked about my income and 5 mins later I was approved.

Hope this helps.

Re: Navy Federal credit Union

Thanks..I called in and it was denied. Have to wait for the letter to know why, but more than likely it's due to inquiries. I have 22 ok TransUnion and 25 on Equifax..2 of them are from nfcu got the membership application. I'll just drop my utilization back down to 8 percent and garden for a while.

Re: Navy Federal credit Union

I joined back in July and applied for a CC and was denied. I waited until earlier this week and re-applied and again denied. I haven't recived the letter stating why yet. Since July I have a Secured Discover card, C1 Premium and C1 QS both with $1K limits. I also have a WalMart card with $500 limit and Lowe's witha $2K limit. I'm thinking cause I'm a Homemaker is why my application has been denied. I won't know for sure until I get the letter. I haven't had great luck as so many here on the forum with NFCU.
