Navy Federal is bipolar!

So I have two navy federal cards, one is about a year old, one is 9 months old.

After the march ar i decided to request a cli on the 9 month old card as ive never requested a cli on this card and felt confident that it would be approved. I got the 24 hour message, called the next day and found out it was denied, still waiting for the letter as to the reason for the denial.

I get an email this morning “congratulations you have received a cli” but it was on the other card?

5 days ago hp denial, today auto cli on the other card. Scratching my head trying to figure these guys out!

Re: Navy Federal is bipolar!

It's not just Navy.  I had a $25k Lowes, a $10k Sam's Club MC and a $10k EBates from Synchrony.

I asked for a CLI to $15k on Sams and was an instant approval.

My goal was to close the Lowes card and ask for $15k on my EBates.

I closed the Lowes card.  Asked for $15k on EBates and got an instant denial.  For the second day in a row I asked for a $5k bump on my Sams Club and got instant approval to $20k.

In the end, I accomplished my goal of reducing my exposure with Synchrony from $50k to $30k.  Have no idea why Sams is so generous and EBates so stingy.
