Hello All Sorry About the Novel But I Need Your Advise.
I have been reading and learning lots and lots from all of you the past 6 months and need some help?
I left the country (USA) 9 years ago and really did not expect to return so I did what I thought was the smart thing and paid off all my bills and credit cards and eventually ended up canceling them as most of the credit card companies were giving me problems for using them for business and not personal and for living out of the country.
I recently returned back home due to my father getting sick and eventually passing and now I have a elderly step-mother needing my help so I am back in the Good Old USA for the foreseeable future
In the 9 years I was away all but 1 of my old credit cards have fallen off of my credit reports and it is due to fall off sometime this year? When I returned my Equifax score was still 700+ and Transunion in the 680s and Experian no longer had a score for me.
In October of this year I learned of the Shopping Cart Trick and it seamed easy enough so I was approved for and received
Total Rewards Visa $4,000
Fuel Rewards MasterCard $3,000
Good Sam Camping World Visa $2,000
Sportsman's Guide Visa $1,000
OverStock Store Card $4,500 CLI to $5,500
I like and use every one of them and burn them to the max credit limit every month but I always pay them off in full before the statement is cut so I show a 0 balance each month with the exception of the Overstock card and it always carries around $500 each statement.
As you probably can guess I am more than a little worried having all my eggs in one basket especially with the games or business tactics of Comenity lately.
I know and realize the credit game has changed drastically since I was last using it and that its a marathon and not a sprint race but I need to build a fairly strong or thick file for both personal and business and hopefully not take the 20 years I had invested the last time.
With the 5 inquires on Equifax from the 5 cards I got in October and now that the cards have aged 4+ months my TransUnion is back to a 685 (FAKO) 677 FICO8 and Equifax is 699 (FAKO) and 677 FICO8 Experian is still not showing a score? My AAOA on TransUnion and Equifax has now dropped from 18.5 years to 2.5 years and Experian is at 5 months?
Help!! I need to start replacing or diversifying with some new cards quickly before I receive some sort of AA from Comenity I did not receive any CLI on any of the cards at the 4 month mark with the exception of the Overstock store card and I am not about to ask or try again.
I have one Medical Collection Account from May 30, 2012 from a Doctors visit for a family member I agreed to sign for and they did not pay but I have tried to pay for delete but no luck and its old enough it is not hurting my score enough to fight?
I have spent hours and hours reading all of your different approaches on your credit journeys and I need your help.
What cards can I get with my thin and weak file that will grow with me and I will want to keep forever? And with my spending habits of maxing them out and paying them off every month I cant afford a company that will hit me with AA down the road. I understand the Chase 5-24 rule leaves me out and both BofA and the Barclaycard Rewards MasterCard interest me but I do not dare pull the trigger on the apps without your opinions.
P.S I also set up a Corporate LLC 3 years ago to replace the company I closed when I left the country just in case I did ever return but it is nothing but a shell with a EIN#
Thanks In Advance
