No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Amex seems to change how the application process works. It was very difficult for me to actually find it, I had to use a browser that I don't normally use, use incognito mode, clear data/clear cache (since I've browsed Amex website before on this browser), and not log in. I wonder if they will show APR and credit limit before accepting.
Sorry mods if this should have been in Credit Cards channel instead of Applications.

I think it was meant for those first stepping into Amex's door. I'm almost at the bedroom door at this point.
I utilized this new portal a couple days ago to get my first AMEX card, it did not show me the SL and APR until after I accepted the card and took the hard inquiry, but it does allow those like me that were marginal to find out if we could be approved before taking a hard inquiry. As a side note, I have been checking the pre-qual site every couple weeks for AMEX and was never prequalified for any cards, (Including five minutes before applying with the new portal).
That's so good to know!! I'm working towards the Amex BCP - do you think this will stay as their normal application process now?
