DH joined and opened savings and checking yesterday.
He was instant approved for $15K NLOC on checking.
He was approved within a few min for $25K GOrewards Visa.
It was not instant and sent for review because he mistakenly put his yearly salary in the monthly space. ![]()
(After he realized and called to change, he was approved right away)
Now what??![]()

Well, it is time to enjoy the fruit of DH's labor
.. Congrats on the approval. Are you both interested in any other cards?
Thanks Yes-Its-Me...after further reading I found everything I was looking for here:
"Navy Federal UPDATED CLI and 2ND ACCOUNT THREAD" (I am on page 38 of 64 so far) ![]()
Thanks baller4life...I have read through some of that, and I will go back through all of it this weekend.

What I liked about the spinoff thread was the info about what to do after $25K....like going for $50K - $80K vs. apping for a second card, etc.
Seemed like most of what I had read previously was about how to get to $25K.
He's not going to do anything more for 6 months or so. Just run $$$ through the card and pay off outstanding balances with the 0% for 12 months.
Mom and Dad here, enjoying the NFCU perks of having 3 military boys. ![]()
