for the Freedom card. I just got the denial letter today and it seems like they primarily just used Equifax to make the decision. Does anyone know why they pull from EX too when they told me that they really needed the Equifax report the most? one of the people I talked to the other day couldn't even see where Chase even pulled from EX at all when I was going through recon.
When I tried to recon my Amazon Visa denial with chase, they had no clue they also pulled EX as well and stated that only pulled TU.. My scenario was a bit different and got the EX pull removed due my circumstance via the EO office. For some reason it appears they can't see EX pulls or double pull sometime? I had a freeze on my report snd they just stated they needed to pull TU unfrooze it then that is when the double pull happened although they said only TU was going to be pulled in my case. Other then that I have no idea why?
Does your letter display both CRAs puled, EQ and EX? When you attempted a reconsideration, was this done the same day you applied?
I initlaly had EQ frozen and they asked me to unfreeze it and that was before I had tried to do recon. The letter only has an Equifax score on it and nothing from Experian.

My 3 chase apps have been EX only pulls!
My ink the week before last was also EX only and with recon still EX only.
What state are you specifically? I'm in GA.

Because they're trying to prevent churn by placing an inquiry on a CRA that can't be...."manipulated"
I got a pull from EX and EQ when I app'd for my Marriott card, I'm going to see what shows when the card arrives. If it doesn't show both info I'm going to dispute it with them to see what the deal is with this double pull.

You know, I should try doing the same thing if they never needed it. What's the best way of going about disputing this? When I applied for the Freedom earlier this year, they also pulled EX but I don't remember them ever having a score from that bureau on my denial letter, just what my internal score with them was.
