Not Necessarily. I got the email too, and currently have no CC with Pay Pal, and honestly hardly ever used it. I figured the same thing, since the subject of the email was "Here is your official invitation to PayPal credit" or something like that. Figured what the heck, might as well try, instant Denial. Figured as much, recently got back from a vacation and my utilization is way up keeping my scores down at the moment. Oh well, it only hit Transunion, which has the least amount of inqs on it. I would say it is a YMMV situation, and I know that just because you are "Pre Approved" so to say, does not mean guaranteed approval.

Do think some of the early "pre release" offers were more solid than the current offers being sent out... reason i posted it was I got an early invite offer on the card before it was open for general applications.....but like anything.. YCMV

I now get alternating emails to apply for the 2% Cashback and the Extras MC. I wonder if i could just get an Extras 2% MC

I applied yesterday and they wanted me to call for verification. Called a few minutes ago and verified my info and got approved with a $3200 limit. Is the card supposed to show up in the linked PayPal account immediately?

It showed up in my husband’s Paypal wallet immediately.

if you had to go through verification it might not appear in your account until a couple of days after activating the card

I have the PPE and I am still recieving invites to apply for an additonal Extras. Think it's randomly sending out offers since my scores are way below where they should be currently.
