Thank you

It depends on what card you're applying for. So far NFCU is lenient on approval for an unsecured nRewards. It's hard to say a certain score without knowing how your file looks like. Some have been approved from as low as 570 (+/- 5 points I think), but their file may be pretty thick. If you are denied for an unsecured card, they will counter for a secured card if eligible.
Just wondering if this is good.
I applied for a NFCU Go Rewards credit card and got a credit line of $2,000 and 12.4 apr. My Fico score is 609, also does anyone have any thoughts on the gorewards vs nrewards.
Just requested a CLI to 25k again on my CashRewards - countered to a nice and even $15,000! I love Navy Fed!

I would since I did....I got $15k. You can just do it online for it.CLI on an initital limit? Is it the same love button? Do I need to wait until the card is in hand or showing in my accouts?
(sorry, for the peppering of questions, I am just trying to do this the best way possible)
I did recon the initial limit online. After reading this thread i asked for 25K...(3-5 day message). Applied for the cash rewards to calm my ichy finger...7.5K! PLUS, I just checked my online acount and I recieved the CLI for the full 25K. Add that to the Nav check and I have uped my CL by 47.5K in just 4 days!
How does the Navcheck look on credit reports? Like a CC?

It reports as a revolving account. aka, CC.

I've had my card for just under a month. Already charged a bit and paid half. Currently at $7500 limit...do I risk asking for CLI or just wait for it to happen?

I would suggest you wait at least 90 days.
Ok, I have a few questions..
I have been getting greedy.. I opened my first NFCU CC (Cash Rewards) around May of 2012. They approved me for $5k at the time. I waited until April of next year to ask for an increase. I asked for $7,500 and was instatnly approved. I then, asked for $10,000 about 10 minutes later and got the 3-5 day message. I logged on about 20 minutes later and the $10,000 was reflected on my account. After that I gave it a rest. About a month later I applied for the Flagship. That was approved at $5,000. Last week, I requested an increase on the Cash Rewards. I got $12.5 instantly. Then I did it again, I got $15k instantly. Kept going, got 17.5 instantly. Once more, I asked for $20, they countered with $18k, so I took it.
The next day, I requested a CLI on my Flagship. I asked for $10k, it was instantly approved. I tried once more. I asked for $20k, I was countered with $18k, so I took it.
Couldn't help myself, so the same day, I requested an increase in my NavChk from $2.5k to $10k. Was approved within 24 hours. I still couldn't help myself, so the next day, I requested $25k on my flagship AND my cash rewards. Got the 3-5 day message for both. Logged on the next day and saw my flagship at $23k and my cash rewards still at $18k. Already thinking they denied me, for whatever reason, I requested another increase on my cash rewards, asked for $25k, and to my biggest surprise, I got a counter for $22k.
Now today, I requested an increase in my NavChk from $10k to $15k. We'll see what happens. But regardless, I think I'm going to give it a rest for a LONGGGG time. I just got CLI crazy.... If anyone could understand?
So after this very long post, I have a question or two... If they were to ever ask for pay stubs or anything after an application or increase request, not that I can't produce them, but what happens if I didn't? Would they ever lower my limit?
Another question I have is does NFCU ever lower limits randomly like everyone else?
I pay almost $2k a month on my Cash Rewards card and keep the balance no more than $7k at any given time. The Flagship has a steady $5k on it and I'm paying that off at $150 a month steadily.
That's a question I always asked myself if Navy comes back asking proof of income as they did with my wife account. I don't know if someone has put they make more money to qualify for the CLI. Recently I received a letter from Navy stating they could not honor my increase to 25k beceause of my income I entered however they were able to increase to 15k. I remembered many years ago I added 15k more to my original income on the Amex website to get the increase and lucky they never ask for proof.
