Best of luck to you in all of your CC endeavors.
Oh, and I'm not sure what the point of your response was. My question to the OP was designed to find out if he had a legitimate offer, or simply received some targeted marketing. With his slim profile I'd find it hard to believe it was an offer. Your response was irrelevant.
I did a search for this offer a couple weeks ago and was able to go through some steps to take advantage of the offer. Mine included waiving the first year annual fee. Seemed like a really great deal to me though we'll see if I want to keep it long term. I then got the EveryDay card a few minutes after approval of this one.
Just to be sure I got the deal when I got my card, I called customer service and they confirmed it.
Kind of off topic yet Amex related ... The average age of my accounts is pretty low. I recently found out about the concept of backdating. I'm an authorized user on an Amex Costco account that started in 2010. I asked to backdate my PRG and EveryDay cards. They said they would do it. They first said they would do it for 2010, the year I became an Authorized User but then I recalled I had my own Amex Costco account a while back. It was closed but I can't remember if I paid off the balance or settled it. I had read that Amex might backdate it even if the account wasn't closed on the best of terms. Anyway, they found it and said it was in 2004. So they said they already backdated to 2010 and then they would backdate the cards to 2004. They said I might get replacement cards saying membership since 2010 followed by another set of replacement cards saying membership since 2004. They won't be changing the authorized user card since it's not my own account so that stays at 2010. But I might have to call them back because when I log into my account online, it says I'm a member since 2010 on all my cards.
@Anonymous wrote:Amex sent a 50K PRG offer with $1000 in 3 months spend.. tempting...
Only cards I have right now are the WF secured at $500 and Chase Freedom with $1200, Freedom is 5.5 Months old, and WF at 7.5 months
Tempting.... what do you guys think? Should I bite?

Let's remember to be respectful in your comments, as to not violate myfico's TOS and User Guidelines.
Let me add, my DH and I received and were both approved using Cardmatch BCP 12.99% offer a few years back and we were current Amex cardholders and never received the offer checking their website.

Great offer go for it.
To the people who say the offers on CardMatch.com aren't real, they absolutely are. They're not "firm offers of credit" - but they're absolutely real offers you can get if you qualify.
I still haven't done it, is the PRG worth it?!
