Oh ugh, could I get the Macy's AMEX?

I was trying to garden but im out for now, I would think Macy's would hand me a 2-3k amex because they handed my a 25k store line, is my thinking logical?

Yes probably $3000. App in store. DW and I both got $3000 approvals in store with Ex scores in the 720's.

Actually my EX score is more like 712 now, I'm at 12% UTL (7k is AU, 5.5k is actually my debt, income 35k), 2 dif reps from their credit granting services told me, if you have a clean report then its mostly DTI, so thats the only thing that keeping me back from apping.

I recently acquired the Macy's Amex in early October.  I did not have a Macy's account when I applied.  At the time my Experian score was 698 and I was approved for 4K.  Hopes this gives you some point of reference.  I love the card and use it.  I have gotten a statement already and have made a couple of payments, however, they have not reported to any bureaus yet! Other than that, no complaints and surprisingly a lot  of benefits to this card...very pleasantly surprised!
