It's still says pending as of Friday the 4th at 3 CST....they seem to be slow getting to actually seeing the app and credit file.
No email asking for anything either. Pull was done immediately. I'm expecting a denial since it's this long into review. Anyone have a long wait with approval?
Good luck with it.

Sorry to hear that, I applied for the platinum rewards and got counteroffered for the PCR with a fico of 601. Maybe it's the BK?

Well, there's nothing to be sorry about---I have not heard anything so it still could get approved. My real question was about anyone having experienced waiting 2--3 or 4 days to hear back. My expectation is a decline..its not been declined
Doh! I'm sorry I read that wrong, I hope you get the card!

Hahaha---no problem brother. Id like to get credit started w/PenFed---I burned NFCU in my BK, and was very sad about that. They were very good to me---but I hear PenFed is as well, ONCE you get the proverbial "Foot" in the door---

Well, Navy would let you back in if you pay them back. Of course whether you can afford to/is worth it is up to you.
But anyway good luck on the PF app! FWIW, I got approved for a PCR for $6.5k with 8 paid COs, 34% util, $78k income, and about a 700 EQ9 score.

I spoke with NFCU about this----all the CC were charged offed during the BK---so there is no coming back from that. There is nothing to pay back as they were Charge offed----so its over with them. Eventually PenFed will open up, if not now later for sure. lessons learned

It doesn't matter that they were COd/IIB. As long as they get paid back. You have to get in touch with their collections department, though, not their regular CSR. You may also have to start with a secured card.

Well, after 3 days under review the app was denied..no email, no message, no anything explaining why. I am sure its the same reason as the 12/17/21 denial, except my score is 29 points higher, no collections, no lates, oldest CC now is 15 months, but BK 13 was DC on 12/14/21---I will try again in 3 months. Time is on my side. I did call in and rep says to send a signed document to underwriting w/reasons why I think the app should be reconsidered. Can't hurt, but no expectation there.

Aw bummer @rchvmz. I thought this time would yield some fruit, but no worries. There's always next time (or see whether reconsideration is an option).
Wait for the reasons and update this thread. I'm curious to see what the reason(s) are and how they compare to your last attempt.
