That offer should be gold. A friend of mine had the same offer last week and applied, was approved for 8K.
Just nervous. At the top of the screen it says...
YOU'RE PRE-SELECTED† FOR THE PNC BANK VISA® CREDIT CARD OF YOUR CHOICE!
Credit pulls doesn't have much info.
Anyone know who they pull? I'm located in Mo.
Also worried about a small limit. Are they conservative?
Sorry about all the questions.
Thanks

They pulled TU for my Points Visa. I am in the DMV area. The limit for me was small, but I had a lot of new accounts and it went through manual underwriting, so I understood. I really did just want a card with them since I've banked with PNC since they took over my local bank years ago.
I have enjoyed the card for the almost year and a half that I've had it and was granted an auto-CLI about 8 months in.
When I was applying/waiting for UW, there were a few threads I found info on so you may want to do a quick search for those. There were a few folks who had really great initial credit limits.
I want to take the offer because of the 12% apr and 0% balance transfers for 15 months.
Just worried about getting a low SL my TU is @ 689.
I know I'm late on this thread, but I recommend going for it. I'm also a PNC banking customer, and I applied and was approved for PNC Core in December with an experian score of 665. Because I got a higher than expected limit, I'm solely using it for the 0% balance transfer. Good luck!

My exp with PNC - I have been banking with PNC since 1987. 10 yrs later I applied for one of their credit card and was denied-I think one reason listed was me not being a homeowner. So I cont to bank with them-in the mean time I was approved for many credit cards from top credit card issuers such AMEX, CHASE, CITI , BOA but I never applied for another PNC creditcards. I also had 2 sm loans with them and paid them off early. Finally 3 yrs ago I received a pre-approved offer from PNC and was approved with a $12,000 credit limit(one of my lowest limit) but thats ok.
Blossom,
