PenFed Visa Recon

So I applied for the Penfed promise visa a few days ago denied for past delinquencies (3 years ago). So I said what the heck I'll send a recon email to Penfed for a second look. I received a response back today from a loan processor that my "documents have been received and will be processed within 24-48 hours". I checked my online account, there is now a new promise visa app pending loan officer review. Is this indicative of an approval?? Or is that wishful thinking? lol. I will report back with an update.

They'll probably give it too you. They've turned me down several times intially through the online system. Once I talked to a CSR and they manually reviewed my file. I was approved. Think positive..you'll be fine. I would call and speak to a CSR in the morning if I were you. Good Luck

By the way, your scores average is better than mine. lol

The pending status means nothing, SOP.

They are very positive with recons. Perhaps they'll approve with a meager SL to give you the opportunity.

Pending just means that, waiting for someone to look at and make a decision.
