PenFed app

I applied over the phone yesterday for the Power Cash. I was interested because since I'm in the coast guard and have a checking account I would qualify for the 2% back.

The rep said my app went pending. Today I received an email to read a message and it was titled "price you pay for credit."

I also found the loan app link I read about on here and it has 4 green check marks (app, review, almost done, complete). There wasn't a way to click on anything.

I guess my questions are 1) does that mean approved and 2) do the rest of you find out your credit line when you receive the card?

Re: PenFed app

The price you pay for credit contains your next gen score.

On the app page....see if there is anything under the word "Action", if so click it. You should have an approval!

Re: PenFed app

There isn't anything under action, it's blank. The score on the document says Equifax 801

Re: PenFed app

It sounds like an approval. Do you have any messages on the Penfed portal? If not, call them.

Nice score btw!!!

Re: PenFed app

If you got the price you pay for credit it is an approval.. make sure as other poster above stated on appication page you complete the electronic signature of terms being make sure you look at application and click through next, next button and it should show you an APR and CL.. Otherwise hopefully it will show up tomorrow or you can of course call penfed and see the limit or if they need anything else.

On the app page I just have:

penfed power cash rewards

then an application number

then for status I have:

application- green check

review- green check

almost done- green check

complete- green check

under "action" it is a blank box

Re: PenFed app

Let's make this easier.......do you have the mobile app? If not download it, log in etc...

Go to the application status (looks somewhat different than main site). If approved it will tell you credit line if approved etc.
