Hello everyone,
I'm new to this but I've been following and reading a lot on this forum so I figured I ask questions myself since I need answers to my situation. Just applied for penfed and denied so called recon twice with pretty much same answer "if they're any inaccuracies on your report" all that stuff then they can review it. Second call was a little more informative since she mentioned that they were gonna approve me but my disco bal was a little high for bt from penfed. Been very good as of last 2 yrs with all payments even tho still have baddies. My question is, why she mentioned the so call approval but said bal was too high to transfer that's why they in other words denied. Anything will help, thanks

Well if the balance was too high to transfer I'd assume they didn't approve you for the full amount hence the denial, I would try to see if they'd be able to lower the amount of the BT and get you that approval.
My disco card have a bal of 4K with 10k sl and she mentioned about if they were to approve me or the card I was approve for was 1,500 and that won't help any bt but I was trying to convince her that maybe that card would help me develop a relationship with them but nothing. Very nice but she couldn't do much and I also asked for Loan officer. the 90 day one pull still exist? If so I can just wait.
Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the forums.
The 90-day (one HP) isn't the norm anymore with PenFed. In the past, they were known to repurpose them, but that isn't the case in a variety of reported experiences. Unfortunately, if you reapply, it'll likely be another HP.
