Penfed denied Promise is overdraft easier?

Ok, several years ago I burned penfed in bk, today account is reopened with savings only. I apped for the promise card for giggles since I already took the hp for reopening. According to penfed my score is 736! But still denied due to 13 recent (sct) open accounts. Tried recon with csr, aftwr she taled to LO, she told me to wait a few months or watch for offers.

Was thinking of opening checking, I can meet the fee waiver requirements with dp of payroll. Will they auto offer overdraft or do I have to ask? Does anyone one know if it reports and how much is typical for overdraft? Or should I just chill till my accounts age a lil?

Current Scores as of 8/18/17 all FICO 8 EQ: 695 EX: 673 *fico2 699 TU:645 bio has more.

Personally, I would let my accounts age. Wait six months and try again if you still want the card. Just my take on it. I know I hit some roadblocks during my rebuild and had to slow down so I could get the cards and the interest rate I wanted. Good luck.

My overdraft reports as a loan I believe.

Mine was given a $500 limit.

Thanks to FICO9, my EQ score was 2 points below from qualifying from any credit card. But I was able to get the $500 overdraft. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

My overdraft is $500, and it does report. Don't recall having to do anything to get it.

If it's Penfeds overdraft, it should report as revolving line of credit.
