Hello all, my Navy Federal Visa Signature Cash Rewards will reach its 91st day/3rd billing cycle on August 13th. I am curious how everyone has experienced their CLI approval odds to be?
My SL is 10K, I charged $1,750 in June for some dental work and my first payment I paid on that was $150 (min payment was listed as $35 but I paid $150). I'm planning on paying another few hundred down on it in August prior to the third cycle cutting.
How do I go about the CLI in August, in your experience have you been the most successful asking for max or asking for a smaller amount? I am happy to ask for 5K but I worry I'll be leaving money on the table. Also what was your balance vs SL when you asked for the CLI?
Ask for 25k
Here's a 742 page thread on the topic.

You don't in August, it will cost you a hard pull - wait until the first week of September when they update your FICO score on site by an AR (soft pull) - then you apply for a CLI.
