It's hard to say what they will give. With your scores you should get at least what I did ($15K). My EX & EQ were in the mid 600's when I apped, TU was 702.

Thank you for that link!
I am looking at around the 4500.00 mark, they have a 4.99% for 48 months, that should be about 100.00 a month.
Or 0 for 12, but 12 may be too short for me right now.
Any idea what they may offer me if I apply for their card?
Finstar, sorry if my post made you app

Don't aplogize BobbyLee - not your fault LOL. I tripped and fell, again. I got to browsing some of their equipment and decided to see how it would turn out. Now, I have several new accounts reporting and a fair amount of inquiries and the application was approved. They are generous!
What I would normally suggest is - have some options since you can try both. It's one of those things - no risks, no rewards. Some folks would be cautious depending on their approach and their research plus based on what you shared with us. Now, if you decide not to go with John Deere, no biggie - you can use it for home and workshop items to keep it active (since it won't report, no harm no foul). Lowes, on the other hand, can grow exponentially. So, if you are approved with a small SL, you can contact Credit Solutions so they can see about increasing the CL. Lots of folks have reported success (YEMV).
Now, the upside of the John Deere financing plan, it doesn't report to the CRAs (unless the account goes into default of course), so the only thing visible would be the immediate inquiry. They both pull TU, just got the alert for John Deere app.

I also just got approved for $15,000. Way more than what I was thinking.
Congrats!!! Funny story about my approval. I was in desperate need of a mower (just split with husband and he took the mower). It was a Sunday, grass was growing and I was sweating! On a whim, I apped.... was shocked when they approved me. When the page popped up, I though it said $1,500. Quickly went to the local dealer. I know all of them personally. The only one they had available was the $1699 tractor but I knew I had read that if your initial purchase was going to be more than you approval then you could call and request more. I told the girl this. She couldn't call then because it was a Sunday but said she would in the morning and then txt me with the results. Well, low and behold... she txt'd me at 9am the next day. She said, your all set, they will deliver in 1 hour. I was so excited! And then she said... oh btw, your credit limit is $15k NOT $1,500!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dropped my phone on the floor, I was in shock! They are very generous! Like I said, that includes service too so now that I don't have a man around, I can call my dealer up in the spring and tell them to come get it, and service it!! Win win! Have fun with your new toy, I know I am!!!!
I am leaning toward the John Deere now, I like the fact they don't report, I really do not need another new account showing up.
I guess it won't hurt to apply, worse case is I get a HP on TU without getting anything.
Then if I do, I have time to decide if I want to spend that much and for how long I want to finance.
Thank you all again! really appreciate all the input from people here.

No, but I am later this month (14-15th), my fico updates for my Discover card soon, was going to wait for that, thinking I will drop 3-5 points or so and a new inq.
Reason is that I want to ask for a CLI with them later this month, I got offered 500 today, but wanted to see what the offer would be after my third statement.
So in about a week I am going for it, I am hoping for not much rain between now and then .. I have been doing most of the lawn with a push mower, not fun
..

One more week then. Update the thread so we can learn of the outcome, whether you decide to go with John Deere or Lowes... or both! Hope you get approved! Also, depending on the riding mower or tractor, you should accessorize it with a fog horn. This will help DW know you're in close proximity
