Over the years of playing with their gadgets I've noticed the higher the utilization, and/or the number of new accounts/inquiries in the most recent 6 months, will shoot that APR thru the roof.
Every time I take a "break" on apps the APR offer slowly comes down over 6 months. Can't say it's the same for everyone but I know it def applies to myself
Congrats CIC. Id say Regions Bank is the winner ?

I check mine for Discover and they wanted to give me 26.99% APR and the crazy thing is that I have been with them since 2015 go figure.
LOL, the 16.99% is still better than my current 18.24% (which was lowered from 20-something percent earlier this year). The biggest question is would they give me more than my current $2,300 limit???? I asked for a CLI on Saturday, and was denied again. Oh well. I played with the IKEA prequal and got $16k too! Would be nice if I could get that starting limit with another card when I finally leave the garden.
Is prequal spree a thing now? Lol

It is when I'm trying to stay firm in the garden but need to scratch that itch LOL
