Almost daily do I receive something in the mail for the Discover it card yet they turned me down only 2 weeks ago. I'm not falling for your marketing ploy a second time even though you would complete my cc portfolio! Fool me once with your "pre qual" offer.

Kind of surprised with your scores and portfolio that you would be turned down? Discover is fickle and hard to predict but If you really want the card give it a shot. What is your UT?

I was surprised too. Letter said too many inq and new accounts in past 2 years. It's only been 2 weeks since denial so I think too soon to app again. Apparently Discover pre qual is pretty bogus. My util is less than 5%
