I haven't seen many post about this credit card so I decided to post my experience. In the begining of my rebuild I wanted to shy away from cards with annual fees. However, I this card has a $39 annual fee. I basically got the card for utilization padding and to see how this card could grow. Plus, the first year annual fee is free with Auto-pay.
Applied maybe a week prior, but an offer could not be generated as I have all credit bureau files frozen. I unlocked TransUnion who they use just to see what the offer would be. The offer was very low and APR very HIGH. I don't carry balances so that's fine with me. Now what I did after seeing the offer, was wait, thought about it and in the process re-locked my credit file.
Logged back in to accept the offer and immediately got the message that card was on the way in 7-10 days and to set up mobile app access.
Tried to add card to apple pay. Card was added but verification was a no go due to not receiving text or email verification codes. I'm thinking that it was because they were unable to HP Transunion. (Got notification from Credit Karma that they tried to HP). Read another post on here about another user having the same issues in regard to adding card to apple pay too btw. I called and they were closed. Told myself to just wait for the physical card and see what happens. However, online I see all account documents, credit score and version of score used etc. They use Vantage Score 4.0 btw
I will update once I receive physical card and whether or not I run into any other issues.
