Which card?
Do not know about the UPromise.
Arrival and Arrival+ probably the most difficult of the 4 to get approved for. I'd suggest mid-to-high 600's. Closer to 700 for the Arrival+ (at least, if you want a decent limit). I was approved for their US Airways card with a 660-670 ($5k SL). I'd imagine similar UW criteria for the Arrival. I was four years past my last baddie.
For the Apple, anything near a 600 seems to be good enough. Some have gotten approved with high-500's.
Barclays likes a year of positive history with credit cards, I learned this first-hand when applying on behalf of DH. His AU accounts were completely ignored by the underwriter I spoke with. Not saying this applies to you, but it's good information to be aware of. Granted, this was for a Ring application, which the UW told me they had the strictest criteria for.... but they gave me one, so they can't be too strict. ![]()
Last, but not least, they almost exclusively check TransUnion.
The Apple.
I had applied for the Barclays Arrival during Christmas week with a 734 TU FICO and was declined for too many inquires (5) and for too many new accounts recently opened. Tried reconning 2 times and both times got the exact reasons. They told me they'd like to see some history with the new accounts. I'll try again in 6 months.

Either Upromise , Arrival , Arrival + , or apple cards
The Apple and Rewards cards are the easiest to get; TU scores in mid 600's might do it.

So which one of their cards do you think is the easiest to be approved on?
Mid 600, i got denied online. Early in the morning i called in and reconned and got approved for $1000 for their Rewards MC. Same night, right before i went to bed, i was on apple's website, i said what the hell and applied for Apple and got an instant approval for $2K which makes it my very first instant approval on an unsecure card ever. They may have some kind of a deal with apple to give out so many cards, and therefore seem to have less stricter approval conditions. I Love the cards, website, app, customer service, all A++ Recon was easy, i was asked about the so many (13) store cards i had opened within the last few months, and i told the rep those were mainly for utilization, and to add some accounts, eventually would all be closed as i got approved for better cards. I said being a male, those are all female store cards, therefore i could not even use them even i wanted to, he laughed
They do not like inquiries. That's one thing to watch for. Otherwise, awesome company. I had both cards in my hand in less than 24 hours. I would recommmed apping for the apple card first, and ifyou get approved, then you can ry one of the other ones you want. If not, and you have to recon, i would not even try for another one as apple is really the easiest one. After i get my first auto cli's on both cards, i will combine them into one card for a one higher limit card and close the other one. Make sure you app on the same day for both cards, so you can have one inq for 2 cards. Don't leave it to the last minute before midnight as they may be in a different time zoe (Eastern) and one app may have a different date and you may get hit with 2 inq's.
