What was their reasoning for the denial ?

Usually 30 days after...  Citi has tightened up in last year or so what was denial reason?  If you have more than 1 new account reporting in last 6 months i would likely hold off if new account related.

The reason is "Your total annual income does not meet our minimum income requirements". I was planning of adding the child support I receive to the annual income I stated.

If that makes the difference then wait 30 days from denial and try again although with that said they might ask for proof of income so be prepared to provide that as they have record of your income this last application and now they will see a bump 30 days later might cause them to raise their eyebrows depending by how much etc.  Best of luck
